And Paul Ryan is running a full-on ad blitz in his home state of Wisconsin for Congressman. 🙂

    Go Ron Zerban!!!

Elephantes, those of the African persuasion-Loxadonta floppy ears-symbolize right wing nutters perfectly. They are too big to fail, they go where they want, take what they want, consume more resources, per capita, than any other species they are prone to threathening behavior, they wail their displeasure like banshees, they use overwhelming force against defenseless,hapless,non-threatening perceived threats and when work needs to be done it is out-sourced to their Asian relatives. They also destroy their environment for personal gratification and absolutely no thought towards sustainability and the future. Contrary to popular belief, they do not make the best parents.males(bulls) can and do kill young calves. Bulls spend most of their free time lazing about taking care of their personal needs while the females tend the chirren and do all the domestic, household stuff they are supposed to be good at. While dad is out tyeing on a decent bender of fermented millet and marula fruit and stomping natives for fun,Mom is busy taking the kids to school and after school activities which includes teaching which human crops taste best and how fast to duck back into the safety of game reserves. Unlike quitter,ex-half guvs of Alaska, these mavericks can and do go rogue and do unimaginable damage in the process. Putting lipstick on one of these critters probably won’t be an improvement. Finally, elephants are said to never forget. Elephants in the rethuglican party don’t have a conscience so they don’t bother trying to remember.

Acquaintance has said that she thought Mormon men were the laziest men she’s ever met. Have no personal experience with that, but think she must really be holding her nose because she is one of those Obama haters. One of those people that if they hear something bad about Obama, IT MUST BE TRUE and must be spewed to everyone. Male elephant, you’ve got that pegged.

Good morning from beautiful, clear sky, much cooler Ohio. A state that I wish Romney’s campaign would give up on. But, then again, the more that smirking twerp is here, the more the president is here, so there is that.

I spent the day in Amish country yesterday with my daughter in law and grandbaby Hannah the cutie pie. Hope all is well with everyone here.

  4. COalmostNative says:

No! No, no, no! The Centennial State does Not claim Romney as a son- well, maybe those in CO Springs do… 😉

After Romney’s comments about the attacks in Egypt, and deaths in Libya- not many Repugs are claiming him, either.

    • JaneE says:

No, no, no, CoSprings does not want mittcastrophe here either, thank you!
We’re doing our best to change that color to purple, one never knows.

  5. Lacy Lady says:

Just got this from Move on .Org.

“Rep. Steve King recently came under fire for comparing immigrants to dogs, saying he hadn’t heard of instances in which young victims of rape became pregnant, and supporting dog fights.

But at a recent campaign event in Iowa, Mitt Romney endorsed Steve King, saying, “I’m looking here at Steve King, he needs to be your Congressman again. I want him as my partner in Washington.”

Sounds Like Rommney is scraping the barrel to find supporters.

Good news for Australia. At least for the time being, the world’s second largest super trawler (142 meters) is banned from fishing off the coast of Oz:

    • mike from iowa says:

the world’s richest woman thinks Australian miners should work all day for two dollars-like they do in Africa. Wonder if she is related to rwnj in Amerika?

    • mags says:

I not sure that you are correct…I just watch a news cast in which one of the independent pols claimed he was still thinking about it. It’s not over yet!!

  8. mike from iowa says:

There seems to be a brand new Kenyan birther crisis arising, this one is of,for and by Paul Ryan. In an interview Ryan said he once ran a two minute, fifty second marathon. He was only off by slightly more than an hour and change. Everyone who pays any attention to marathon runners know the fastest ones-sub three hour marathoners-are from Kenya. Someone please check Ryan’s birth certificate. He hasn’t recanted his claim as far as I can tell.

  9. There is nothing so intractable as software running amok. Well, maybe Paul Ryan confronted with one of his lies is worse, but not by much. Good luck.

Yes, Mudflatters… The blog is all in italics. I am actively trying to figure out why this is so, and correct it. As far as I can tell, it means that somewhere in there is a little piece of script that says (in effect) “Begin italics!” and there is no little piece of script that says “End italics!” And so, this lovely blog has decided not to think that through on its own merits and is simply doing what its told. I know. It seems impossible.

In any case, I am endeavoring to FIND that little thing that says “begin italics,” which, as you can imagine, is rather like trying to find a needle in a haystack full of gobbledygook. So, posts may be appearing and disappearing. And things may periodically look odd, but rest assured it’s just me rummaging around in the attic, looking for the elusive italic.

At least everything is still in English…

    • beth. says:

Qvrrthy, broggvit yakchar qrhonna … oh, wait, you said the site was all stil in English (or some facimile, thereof…) didn’t you, AKM?

If it helps anything, all was looking ‘normal’ on this end, as late as midnight last night, EDT.

I don’t envy you your needle-in-a-haystack chore — I surely hope it’ll be easier to find the missing direction, than it’d be to find SPs “big stick”, Miitt and Paul’s plans for the nation, and the word missing the extra “s” now in “Massachsusetts”. Trying to find *those*, of course, would make completion of your task, flat out impossible 😉 beth.

Wow! This blog leans to the right??
