Day 6 – A Spring Creature!
Captain’s Blog
SnowDate 05.06.2013
For the second day there has been no precipitation on this part of the planet.
Our quest continues, looking for this elusive thing they call… “Spring.”
We feel we may be close. Temperatures ranged from the low to high 40s fahrenheit during the daylight hours. It is now 23:45, and late twilight.
Earlier in the day we were able to record two phenomena, which support our suspicions that we may be honing in on our target.
First: A strange and ephemeral celestial apparition. According to local custom, a large pot of gold should be located somewhere between the heated storage units for rent, and the Lowe’s Hardware Store, but it may be guarded by a small green man of ill temper. Must Google this later.
Second: A migratory creature associated with “Spring” was captured here, frolicking in a puddle of liquid water. Attempts to obtain photographic evidence of a large brown and orange fluttering insect did not meet with success, and almost caused injury to the photographer. But that’s another story for another time.
The journey continues…
Your patience is being rewarded.
For want of another i,said creature could be aspiring to be perched on SWWNBNed’s head adding lustrous, white hi-lites and nutrients to that mop.I feel better. Thanks Pi.
Yay!!
Obviously spring has sprung- the avian creature in the parking lot pond spends the winter in my neck of the woods, usually perched on the high school parking lot light poles or close to fast food establishments. Stray french fires and reminants of burgers are their favorite delicacies….
Yay!
