Native Alaskans Standing Together for Scott McAdams
This is a really wonderful 2 minute YouTube video. It speaks to so many critical points of Native life and culture. Please pass it far and wide and let’s get it viral, especially in rural communities. Alaska Natives have so much at stake, and they deserve someone who will go to the mat for them. Scott McAdams is that candidate. Enjoy.
It’s hard to understand why anyone would use bears as an admirable symbol anyway, they are just pigs with fur,and given enough food, they will breed like rabbits. Sooner or later someone will get a snare around panderella’s neck and then this nightmare will end.
Wow, what a great video. I’m a First Nations from Canada but if I could I would vote for Scott. I’ve been watching his campaign and based on what I have seen AK will be well represented by Mr. McAdams.
got it posted on my blog. nice piece of work.

it’s about time that one of the candidates talked about the importance of rural alaska and rural alaskans.palin never did one thing to support rural alaskans or any Native alaskans.she is married to some one who is part Native & she still ignored them.western & rural alaska are in terrible crisis & have been for some time.joe miller won’t lift a finger to help,in fact he wants to abolish the minimum wage, disabilities benefits & medicade. Who will that affect the most?Miller is a non-humaitarian & a bully as demonstrated by the behaviors of his security team’s actions this week end.Handcuffing a blogger for asking a question? That’s the kind of person we want representing us in Washington? Advocating for the Alaskan people?our children?I say NO!We cannot let this happen in our beautiful state.we haven’t recovered from the damage palin did (& is doing). Please get out & vote!Encourage your friends & neighbors to vote, offer to drive elders,& people without transportation to the poles.we have to support scott, get him elected & then hold him accountable to do the job that he promises to do.Alaska deserves it.
This is very powerful, coming on the heels of the news that the native corporations have dumped hundreds of thousands of dollars into Lisa’s campaign.
so …having done that, i assume they have no need and no respect for that black man in the White House. if they are complicit in sending either Miller or Murkowski to Washington to play havoc in the senate, they better be sure that they do not need and will never need help from Barack Obama’s administration. the eyes of the lower 49 are upon you Alaska because Sarah Palin, a home grown product of your society, has created hatred and divisiveness wherever she plants her hooves.
now my questions to the Native corporations is this; “if you have hundreds of thousands of dollars to give to anyone, then why don’t you use that money to better conditions in the rural areas for everyone who lives there. why are your people using honeybuckets when you are sitting on money that could be used for sewers and treatment plants? why are many of your people hungry in the villages? and finally. what the hell is wrong with you?

Thank you Scott McAdams.
Thank you .
Sorry to interrupt this wonderful post but I haven’t seen this elsewhere.
It’s clear that Sarah was adopted by the Heaths. This person has to be the result of a one night stand between Chatty Cathy and Edward Sissorhands. Sarah. Put down the Red Bull. And the meds. And walk slowly back out the door. Something is seriously wrong here.

She used Todd and common sense in the same sentence.
Todd has the common sense of a Papa grizzly. Protect mama grizzly when you’re interested in her at all costs and without thought for the future. Later, eat the cubs.
[from the link] “I think the machine within the GOP will realize the ‘we the people’ within message is rising and is resonating throughout with independents, with moderates, with hard core conservatives because it’s so full of common sense,” Sarah Palin said, adding: “And time tested truths that could put the economy back on track that heaven forbid the GOP machine strays from this message if so, the GOP is through.”
Contrast the above with Scott McAdam’s clear, unambiguous, positive, sensible messages. Talk about your proverbial: night and day! beth.
Beautifully done ad which needs state-wide viewing.
I would hope Native communities nation-wide – particularly those with wealthy casino incomes – would come forth to help McAdams in the next week.
Congratulations to the intelligent, sensitive souls who made this ad because it is one of the best ads I’ve seen in several campaign cycles. It speaks to how many of us are perceiving McAdams – even in the other 49 states: as a man of quiet dignity, intelligence and integrity; someone who has dedicated his life to serving the needs of his family his community and his state.
McAdams would not only represent Alaska well, he would be a Senator everyone could respect. He has lived the life of a public servant and will continue doing so if elected to the Senate. I have not heard of one single scandal or misstep in his public service career. Wow – such a contrast with Lisa and Joe!
Please vote for McAdams!
YES!!
Wow. A beautiful message with beautiful people. I’m guessing they didn’t put out notice of a casting call in South Philly to get this group together. Not really my business from here in Chicago but I hope folks in Alaska have seen enough of Joe Miller in the last few days to realize that the only other Senate candidate whose name is on the ballot is much more deserving of their vote.
Think it over, and then think of how proud you’ll be on November 2. Scott McAdams looks the different kind of guy the Tea Party can only dream about.
Nicely done!
Quyana! What a great video with some of our future elders, along with our future Senator from Alaska.
Need this in a text/still photo format folks who don’t do video. Will it be a TV ad? That might work also.
Well done of you, Scott McAdams! It is certainly more pleasant to watch than unlicensed goons handcuffing a member of the press.
Beautiful! I’m waiting for the introduction (after Election Day, Mr. Miller!) of Scott McAdams, the junior Senator from the Great State of Alaska! Alaska, make it so!
Such a beautiful Ad from Scott McAdams. A true representative for Alaskans.
Scott McAdams FTW!
