Dear Mr McAdams-
The polls close in less than 2 hours .
No matter what happens next, I want to say thank you.
This is my 38th year voting. I have missed but one vote, a muncipal one, in all these years.
( I still beat myself up for the flat tire, end of the road, too far to walk set of circumstances which kept me from voting that day )
I have worked for only 3 campaigns in that time
Yours is one.
It has been a pleasure to do my tiny bit .
Thank you for running on issues which matter, really matter.
Thank you for staying out of the drama-rama the other candidates have wallowed around in.
Thank you for being a good and decent human being.
It has been an honor, sir.
Win or lose, Scott McAdams can be extremely proud of running one of the cleanest, most respectable and admirable campaigns of this election season.
Hopefully, the voters of Alaska will choose to send Scott to the Senate where he will represent them with integrity and honesty.
Go Scott!!
Just a correction…there are not 675,000 VOTERS, but that many RESIDENTS of Alaska. Greta restated Scott’s number a bit hastily, I think. I always wonder how many of those RESIDENTS actually live in Alaska. There are loopholes in the PFD program, so there are plenty who live outside the state but retain voter status so they can make a case for eligibility for the dividend.
Great interview, as always, for Scott. He could have spouted any number of mean-spirited and haughty things about Murkowski or Miller, but he spoke with a quiet strength and determination, and, as usual, took the high road. I very much appreciate his decision to avoid mudslinging against his Republican adversaries. This he does, in spite of the fact that they’ve both provided him more than enough ammunition to get down-and-dirty about their duplicitous actions and words.
What a great man. I hope, at this time tomorrow, we can say unequivocally, what a great senator!
I love the picture and all the familiar faces in it!
Voting day fun. Grassroots at its best. http://callanx.wordpress.com/
Yay, Bob Poe! Oops, sorry.
Well color me surprised. Any press that gets Scott the attention he deserves, is alright by me.
Go Scott!
Sorry I don’t do video or have TV. But heard that Greta had a big smile for Scott.
