The “fire in the belly” statement has really had me thinking the past few days.

It’s the adrenaline … it’s the rush that she just craves. She HAS to have it, can’t live without it.

She’s always made a big deal that she’s a runner, and made many references to it when talking about political competition. What’s a runner need? — adrenaline.

Somehow I don’t think she even realizes that once the race is over, the “prize” will require hard work, intelligence, teamwork, curiosity, motivation, selflessness and concern for others who are not like herself. She can’t see past the adrenaline.

I do think she will toss her hat in the ring, but she really can’t see past the election. (But maybe that’s immaterial to her ….)

  2. Susabelle says:

Oh, Sarah, Sarah…Just finishing The Lies of Sarah Palin..All her opponants need to do is quote from this book. The Blind Alligance came this morning………..I will need to medicate with your pictured feast..No King Crab..but some salmon and oysters will do..AND may two martinis to take awat the bad tast in my mouth from reading about that woman. She is certifiable. Very dangerous when spewing hate to vulnerable people. I hope she runs and looses BIG…Maybe that will make her go away where we can’t see or hear her……Just hopin!

  3. DF says:

Keep that sun out! I’m on my way… and I’d like nothing better than a bowl of crab legs and a glass of white wine at the end of the trail.

  4. Jen in SF says:

Off the delicious topic, but Texas Representative Senfronia Thompson spoke out against sexist pandering she saw in legislation fliers. I wish we had many more of her.

    http://juanitajean.com/2011/05/26/senfronia-thompson-is-amazing/

  5. Nekolibrarian says:

Is it only in my little corner of northern Florida, or are all Sam’s Clubs not carrying Blind Allegiance? I checked my local store on Wednesday, and nada. When $P’s book(s) came out, they were displayed prominently. I purchased my copy at my local Books-a-Million today – the store had it right out in the front of the store, hard to miss.

  6. benlomond2 says:

Lawerence is predicting Sarah is not going to run; that it’s all smoke and mirrors again….he makes a good point….

  7. benlomond2 says:

My book(s) arrived today, … now I can catch up with the rest of you ! …. and for those of you allergic to shellfish, I’ll eat your portions of the crab !

  8. leenie17 says:

I’d love to know who the first person was who looked at a King Crab and decided it was edible. 😉

  9. Califpat says:

Millie, I agree with you about Chris Matthews! He was almost drooling talking about SP! So, Millie move over so I can get my barf bag too!!

    • Millie says:

Thank you!!! Enjoy having company……MSNBC of all networks….Matthews has had the photo of Palin for his introduction for years and I recall contacting him long ago and asking him to take it off…obviously he didn’t! He has always drooled over her. Barf, barf, barf!!! Regurgitate, regugitate, regurgitate! Stop watching Matthews…he interrupts the people he has on his show…talks over them all the time and I doubt his ratings could be very high in the group on MSNBC.

  10. beth says:

Here is tonight’s _The Nightly News_ video segment: “Palin tour prompts presidential bid rumors” — http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032619/ns/nightly_news/

It’s 2:34 long and has Andrea Mitchell (along w/ Brian Williams) reporting. The Book is at min 1:27 and Frank starts at min 1:32. (IMHO, if nothing else, this clip of him talking about $Ps reaction to slights needs to be played over and over again until *everyone* ‘gets it’ — to me, it’s soooooooo illustrative of her entire personality/persona and *exactly* why she is so damned dangerous to –and for– our country!) beth.

  11. Wallflower says:

The book is 55 on Amazon. (It has been higher?)

  12. Millie says:

Chris Matthews – MSNBC – having a ‘love fest’ over Palin today. Made me want to barf!!!!

  13. Buffalogal says:

Reports of at least one tornado on the ground an hour south of Buffalo. They are investigating the possiblility that one came down yesterday, as well.

Just can’t get over how bizarre this season is already.

    • mike from iowa says:

Lets blame rethugs and tea-baggers before they blame Obama.

    • leenie17 says:

I couldn’t believe how many counties in NY had tornado watches tonight. Luckily, I’m far enough north that we escaped the worst of it, although we had a couple doozies of thunderstorms.

I can’t imagine how people in Tornado Alley have been dealing with the constant threats, day after day after day. Between the tornados, thunderstorms, hail, flooding rivers…what an exhausting spring they’ve had.

  14. Baker's Dozen says:

Palin’s bus tour–real news isn’t taking her very seriously!

    http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/The-Vote/2011/0526/Sarah-Palin-bus-tour-Why-won-t-she-say-where-she-s-going

    • beth says:

She got a full segment on NBCs _Nightly News_ this evening. Frank was included — he was VERY good! (Yes, The Book was shown. Woo-hoo!)

And I don’t know how to say it politely, so I’ll just blurt it out… This ‘bus tour’ she’s got going? I know she’s a citizen and all that, but why do I feel as if her going to historic venues somehow dirties and cheapens them? I seriously do NOT want her to ‘contaminate’ any of the sites our nation holds dear…

At least her children were hers –and hers alone— to exploit as she wanted to, but National spaces? Spaces that belong to ALL of us? She dares to exploit MY beloved National spaces for HER gain?

I am sickened by her. And I want to get massive quantities of bleach and air purifyer to cleanse the stench of her exploiting –for her personal gain– off of the entire area in and around OUR National spaces. Enough already, you opportunistic b***ch, Sarah; enough! beth.

  15. aussiegal77 says:

Let’s not underestimate Palin – we should all learn from what happened in AK especially with the Presidency on the line! I’d much rather be proven wrong by a Palin implosion than….the unthinkable….!

  16. 1smartcanerican says:

Well, she has her new two-hour infomercial movie coming to Iowa in June; she leaves for her bus tour on Sunday; and she starts the tour with veterans. Yes, she is running.

Now, we need to STOP HER SOONEST POSSIBLE so that my/our summer is not totally ruined by yelling at the TV and/or computers around the nation/world.

I pray that she is shut down in embarrassment or handcuffs really really soon.

BTW, that repast looks positively yummy. I also agree that a bit (lot) of Copper River sockeye would be a wonderful addition to this meal. I love me some CR sockeye!

    • Buffalogal says:

I’m going to get back to maintaining the website that I started back around the “Going Rogue ” launch. It’s a collection of the best articles that shine the truth spotlight on her. I had stopped in late 2010 because it was exhausting me and straining my blood pressure but it’s obviously time to get back work. I don’t believe she has a chance in the world of winning the primary but she’s going to be out there spewing her lies again and speading the hate. I also think she could be setting herself up for a run at a seat in congress by way of this positioning for a presidential run.

Yep – we’ve all got to do what we can to nullify her message.

I’ll post the link for the site once it’s updated.

      • beth says:

I don’t think the Senate, for her, is big enough. It has to be the Office of the President — her ego, her understanding of her (self-)importance to the nation (and the world), and her carefully listening to what ‘G_d is telling her’, demands nothing less. beth.

        • Buffalogal says:

Oh absolutely – she is gunning for the #1 spot but I think she knows she can’t make it this time around. My guess is that she’ll make a show of running so that she’s a contender. This will give her continued clout for tours, books, speaking engagements and power plays. She’ll drop out for some reason or another that allows her to play the victim card. From there, she’s in prime position to continue her blustering about as if she is somebody important , take up semi-residency in Arizona, become part of the extreme right scene there and then make a run for a congressional seat ( being all humble saying that her servant’s heart will go where God leads her and the title isn’t important ) and then she’ll still have the chance to push the extreme agenda. While there she waits it out until 2016.

          That’s my theory d’jour !

      • Snoskred says:

Good on you Buffalogal – I’ll keep an eye out for the link and we’ll make sure to link to it on the forums also too. 🙂

        • Buffalogal says:

Hey Snos – who created the banner ad for Blind Allegiance ? Who should I contact to get permission to use it on the Palin news site ?

  17. Baker's Dozen says:

Now here’s an idea that empowers students and could actually make schools better.

Why is it we so seldom seem to ask students what they need to achieve; what they see as wrong in their schools?

    http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Making-a-difference/Change-Agent/2011/0526/Critical-Exposure-students-focus-on-reforming-schools

  18. Baker's Dozen says:

Perhaps she’ll have a new grandchild to bring on the campaign trail. I have the perfect name, in keeping with the “Tr” names, if it’s a boy:

    Troop Ergate Palin

    • Irishgirl says:

      🙂

    • CO almost native says:

Good choices, all- but in honor of the Palins’ newly-adopted state (drum roll, please):

      Trickster Coyote Palin!

      • mike from iowa says:

I like that, however, according to Mag the Mick there might be more than one Trickster Coyote. Just don’t let Mag know I’m telling tales out of school, because I have been known to mess up my memories.

        • Mag the Mick says:

Well, it’s kinda complicated. There are many Tricksters (mythology and religions around the world abound with Trickster figures) but only one Trickster Coyote. But Coyote himself can take on a number of forms in order to get what he wants. Other Trickster figures are Hanuman, the Hindu Monkey god, Raven, the Japanese badger Tanuki, Anansi the Spider who figures in both west African and Caribbean folklore, and Jack the braggart and giant killer. In some ways (and I don’t mean to be sacriligious), Jesus performed as a classic Trickster figure: enlightening people through clever stories, transforming things, outraging the authorities, and ultimately, cheating death. Tricksters embody chaos, both the destructive and creative energy of the Universe.

I have immense respect for all the Trickster figures, believe in their power, and would never want to cross them or displease them. Any spawn of Sarah’s doesn’t deserve the name Trickster. She is using some Trickster energy of her own right now, but that will catch up to her. You don’t want to mess with that stuff!

  19. Lilybart says:

So, which prop will she bring this time?

    • Irishgirl says:

Todd, Todd, Todd – have you seen him?

I borrowed that from Regina. 🙂 Hope she doesn’t mind!

  20. Buffalogal says:

Get the ear plugs and barf bags ready – Palin is launching a cross-country bus tour.

I’m on dial-up so I couldn’t get a page to open on any of the stories but a Google search brings up a good handful.

    Gak.

    • G Katz says:

It’s time for FOX to pull the plug on her, NOW!

      • Buffalogal says:

        Agreed !

Is it a law or just a strong rule that a candidate can’t be part of a media outlet ?

        • G Katz says:

That’s a good question, and I don’t know the answer. I did find an article on the HuffPo that says:

“Fox News told Politico that, as soon as anyone actually declares their intention to run, they will be dropped from the channel’s payroll. But the lucrative nature of the arrangement might delay those announcements, the site says.”

It’s no wonder she’d want to string it out as long as possible. How sweet to get a handsome salary with the benefit of pathetic self promotion.

          http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/09/27/fox-news-has-nearly-all-p_n_740070.html

          • Buffalogal says:

She’s got a PAC and is referring to this as an “exploratory campaign” but is going to sneak by simply by not formally announcing. My GAWD I loathe this person.

        • CO almost native says:

They won’t unless Palin formally declares she’s running for the nomination- or creates a formal, exploratory committee. In the meantime, she can be coy and run around the country “listening” (yeah, right).

If FOX was smart, they’d pull the plug, to avoid being labeled as biased in her favor. Instead, I think they’ll just keep her off the air “officially”.

        • LibertyLover says:

It is law… if a candidate appears on TV, it is considered a donation in kind and then all other candidates are allowed the same exact amount of time for equal access to our public airwaves.

The only thing I can’t figure out is how Allen West is still on the radio… most people running for public office have to give up their media program…

        • slipstream says:

To quote Barbossa in Pirates of the Caribbean — “the Code is more what you’d call guidelines than actual rules.”

      • G Katz says:

Apparently while she’s under contract with FOX, she’s also unable to appear on other networks. Another bonus for she who is challenged unless she’s sitting across from Shamity.

Okay, back to reading Blind Allegience. Geez. This book came out just in the nick of time.

      • G Katz says:

        Andrea Mitchell tweeted this:

“Fox News says “We are not changing Sarah Palin’s status” – would only changes if she announces for President (so bus tour doesnt count)”

    • Wallflower says:

She, of course will travel by plane and meet the bus at designated locations.

  21. LoveMyDogs says:

    I just finished the book.

Frankly, I feel the need for a shower with wire brushes. No offense AKM, but I could barely make it through the first 2 or 3 sections of the book without wanting to heave. Over and over my muttered response to myself was “Oh, puke”. I did see truth there. I remember reading an op-ed in our local rag of a paper way back when and thinking, “No Way did Sarah Palin write that”. And Lo and behold, I was right. The idea that these people can get away with free publicity having other people writing op-eds and SP signing them and saying they are hers and then her staff writing letters to the editor and having other people sign them is just so dishonest and filthy that it made me ill.

I feel a little bit sorry for Frank but not that much. This was the story of abuse on a radical scale. It was like reading a story written by the victim of domestic abuse but with the caveat that he knew he was being dishonest and he stayed and jumped right on the bandwagon of abusing others just for that hope of a smile (equivalent to the guy showing up at the door with flowers after beating the living crap out of his spouse the night before) from his Queen Esther or whatever. THAT makes me sick. He knew better and he was willing “to die” for her? “Unflippin believable” What is WRONG with these people? Any of ’em, all of ’em? Tip toeing around this psychopath in hopes that they won’t be the next one thrown under the bus. It isn’t like they had/have no other choices and nowhere else to go. They were/are grown people!

The whole religious bent of “This is what God wanted” makes me sick. It has no place in the running of our state or the country.

I am glad that this book was written but I do not think that it will have any effect on people just like him. There are too amny people out there looking for a “saviour” and they will continue to follow people like SP right down the drain cheering her on as she stomps her bloody red heels into their faces.

She and her whole bloody crowd should be locked up somewhere where they can do no more damage.

Congratulations on getting the book published. I don’t know how you made it through it. I will look forward to something written just by you someday.

    • bubbles says:

LoveMD i too just finished the book and like you i shall look forward to reading a book of AKM’s someday.
since this is an open thread i want to say a heartfelt and loving thank you.
a month or so ago you suggested a book for Mike called Pain Free. i ordered it immediately.
in three minutes of doing the exercise where you face the wall with your arms out i felt uncomfortable so i adjusted my feet to the pigeon toed position and i heard and felt a small pop as my right hip came into alignment with the left. that was it. the pain in the hips and knees and ankles disappeared just like that. kisses and hugs my LoveMD.

      • LoveMyDogs says:

Oh Bubbles! I am so glad for you. That is a very powerful little book and the exercises are really so easy if you just do what they say. Kisses back to you.

    • jimzmum says:

I am reading the book. It came today. I am on Chapter 4, and just want to smack the tar out of this man. I do want to say that the Foreword is magnificent. I join with LoveMD in hoping to read a just-by-you book one day.

bubbles, I am so glad you found relief! I had the sappiest grin spread on my face after I read that. I am going to find that book.

    • ebeth says:

      My thoughts almost exactly.

I am about half way through and have been thinkiing Bailey is as dispicable as Payme. Especially after Payme was elected and he could have run away fast. He already knew who she was.

  22. Cathy Heyworth Harris says:

I think I figured it out – SP plans to run for Gabby Giffords Senate seat, eventually.

    • Millie says:

I cannot believe the folks in AZ would even let her near the seat. Don’t forget the crosshairs…would suspect they’d bring that topic out in force and she’d be defeated!

    • BeeJay says:

She can’t: Scottsdale is nowhere near Gabby’s district. I, on the other hand, do live in Gabby’s district. 🙂

      • LibertyLover says:

        I live just north of you a bit…about a two hour drive… 😉

        • Mag the Mick says:

Even if the woman decides to run for office in Arizona, I doubt she’d make many visits south of the Gila River. Here in what we call “Baja Arizona”, we still maintain a hold on “blue” status. Too many of us here will always remember Palin for her “crosshairs”, and she will never be welcome. And if she does show up, I know I can count on Beej to join me in the shoutin’ match that will certainly ensue.

    • Mo says:

Oh good lord, no – she’s “gunning” for McCain.

    • yukonbushgrma says:

Or John Kyl’s, perhaps? Didn’t he announce he’s not running? Arizona folks, can she do that? What would be the political considerations there?

  23. fawnskin mudpuppy says:

i received my hardbound copies of the Book yesterday and i have to say that actually seeing them in their other-than-digital magnificance is quite impressive.
    nice and hefty and colorful.

i love my kindle version ’cause it’s instant gratification. but holding the real thing is sublime.

  24. PollyinAK says:

Time for Alaskans (or others) to send a thank-you email to Senator Lisa Murkowski’s office:

Five Republican senators jumped ship and voted against House Republicans’ 2012 budget on Wednesday.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) joined four other Republican senators who’d previously announced their opposition to the budget, which has sustained withering criticism by Democrats who say it would end Medicare as Americans currently know it.

Sens. Scott Brown (R-Mass.), Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) voted against it as they’d previously said they would, largely because of the reforms contained within the budget to Medicare, transforming it into a voucher-based system for Americans under the age of 55.

    • bubbles says:

good on Murkowski. that was a good move and i am sure the Alaskans will let her know they approve her action.

      • Millie says:

Murkowski voted correctly on this issue, but there have been so many she hasn’t for Alaskans! Many of us feel that we cannot count on her…not consistent at all.

    • Laurie says:

Could this be the first sign of a turning of the tide back to moderation in the republican party? If they don’t primary these defectors there might be a chance. Probably not though.

    • Dagian says:

Downer Dagian says, “Even a stopped clock is right twice a day”.

But I am pleased that she did this and people absolutely should let her know when she got it RIGHT.

  25. mike from iowa says:

I have to admire an Alaskan person’s ability to look at a shiny bowl full of crab appendages and say without hesitation that they are King and not Queenly or Princely Crab legs. Is this ability inherent or can one take classes? While I’m here,I have to remark on the number of olives in what must be a Martini Glass. Is that a subliminal message or something? Why not four or five?

  26. merrycricket says:

Looks fabulous! Let me scoot up to the table with my fork! Hope this was part of your birthday celebration.

Roses are in full bloom at the merrycricket cottage. I’m hoping that when I get home tonight, my book will be here. Tomorrow is my day off so I can weed and read.

I had a lovely salad with my dinner last night. Made with greens freshly picked from the garden. I haz a happy 🙂

    • leenie17 says:

We’ve had so much rain here lately that I haven’t been able to plant anything. I finally got into the veggie patch this past weekend and did some weeding so I could at least plant my lettuce seeds. As I was weeding, I found 4 lettuce plants that has sprouted from last year’s seed. They’re only about an inch and a half tall, but they’ll get me started enjoying a fresh salad just a tiny bit sooner than the seeds will!

I can’t wait for a spring lettuce salad!!! Yummm!

  27. tallimat says:

Yummers. Crab. Oh my. I grew up on the stuff. But now I just savor photos of crab. Several of my family members can’t go near shellfish. It is deadly to them. Me, I practically died fishing crab commerically.

Spring cleaning is the operative action around tallimat’s house.
I found some treasures… some of last years frozen blueberries in the freezer. Then, way back in the pantry shelves, 3 jars of smoked fish.

The blueberries are gone. For 3 mornings, I’ve had blueberries and milk for breakfast.

As for the jars of fish, I did anounce finding someones hidden stash and after much debate we’ve decided a hike along the back trail to the overlook for some late evening picnic style dinner. The back trail is just beautiful this time of year. The evenings are best. So one evening this weekend, we’ll be taking a hike and eating a picnic dinner of jarred smoked fish…

  28. A fan in CA says:

Congratulations on having a wonderful week. That King Crab looks yummy.

The reviews on Amazon are great and really complement how well written the book is. Kudos to you. Your talent is shining on the national stage for your contribution.

  29. G Katz says:

Wisconsin union busting law struck down, but on a technicality.

“Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi ruled Thursday that Republican legislators violated Wisconsin’s open meetings law during the run up to passage. She says that renders the law void.”

    http://maddowblog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/05/26/6722983-breaking-judge-strikes-wisconsin-union-stripping-law

    • Dagian says:

      It’s a victory though–let us rejoice!

      • G Katz says:

Yes, there is hope for a different result if they persist in following this path.

    • Alaska Pi says:

Don’t let the naysayers call it a technicality!
OPEN meetings laws are important , important tools to ensure that legislators et al cannot shut their constituents out of the process.
This is a real victory- based on something we fought hard all across America to put in placein towns, cities, and states.
Constant vigilance is necessary to keep to the intent and letter of laws regarding open process.
      Go WI!

      • yukonbushgrma says:

I do agree with you, Pi — it’s extremely important that the Open Meetings law is respected. And this was a victory.

However, given the political composition of the Wisconsin Legislature, they’ll just bring the darn bill up for a vote again (this time with adequate notice) and it will probably pass. That’s the conventional wisdom.

        So sad.

    • scout says:

Huge victory! ON Wisconsin!! Yes. You. Did.

“REPUBLICAN legislators VIOLATED Wisconsin’s OPEN MEETINGS LAW”

All eyes on deck: Yes WE can!

      • MonaLisa (inCT) says:

They knowingly broke the law. That needs to be stressed. They broke the Law!

    • leenie17 says:

Two major victories in one week…the very red NY-26 House district turns blue and the Wisconsin anti-union legislation gets knocked down in court.

Add the debut of a blockbuster new book by our favorite blogger and…

      it’s a happy, happy week! 🙂

  30. aussiegal77 says:

    Yum!

Here’s my hope if Palin should do the insane and run for President – I HOPE HOPE and PRAY and PRAY that as she gets more coverage as a candidate, more of her psychosis and narcissism will be exposed. I’m hoping that the more the Christian base sees her, the reasonable ones who don’t vote emotionally (yes, we do exist!!) will be utterly horrified and determine not to vote for her.

If the only good thing to come out of this is that people well and truly wake up her vindictiveness then praise God and hallelujah!

    • BigPete says:

Fox already prepared should Palin leave for a presidential run.

      http://www.newscorpse.com/ncWP/?p=4488

    • Dagian says:

What Palin and her flying monkeys failt to realize is that running for the office of President is going to be hard work, and this time, I doubt the press will permit any softball questions. She will face scrutiny the likes of which she has never faced, or faced down. She simply can’t bully an entire nation of +/-350 million citizens the same way she could intimidate a basketball player, a town or even a small city.

The more she talks, the more she lies; the more she lies, the more people will go further and further into her past and most of them will be appalled. Not all, but most.

Forget skeletons in her closet, it’s more like a zombie nation that will emerge. Only this time–they will talk and be heard.

      • Martha Unalaska Yard Sign says:

Don’t count on the press – they have their own agenda and it mostly involves money generated by sensationalism & skimpy, skewed facts, not news. They will drool over ratings, not the results of good journalism. Why are we still thinking that our press is for the people, fulfilling their envisioned role in the Constitution? Jon Stewart & Steven Colbert do more with their fake news shows than the rest of TV media combined.

Count on yourself if Palin runs, count on your friends and bloggers. Encourage or hassle the press to do the right thing (we all should), but don’t expect it out of the box these days. My intent is not to be negative, but to give up the weeping over our crappy press and expecting the silver knight in armor to save us all. We have the responsibility to save ourselves if no one else steps in, so be ready and willing!

All you have to do is look at Oprah, Barbara Walters and so many failings from the traditional press to care about a real story. Worthless.

Exactly, MUYS! Time for some serious grassroots work again, for sure!

        Death Panels

The Koch brothers have to be really excited by the prospect of Palin becoming the most important salesperson for the Ryan ’empower granny with coupons’ plan!

      • aussiegal77 says:

Yeah I gotta agree, I really don’t think the Press will do their jobs here – they haven’t for so long, why start now? Plus it’s seems to be only all about ratings, ratings, ratings.

Never overestimate the collective American electorate’s intelligence. We elected Dubya Bush after he got appointed Potus and even when it was patently obvious he turned America’s core values upside down. There was no way Kerry should not have won the ’04 election by default, and he still lost. Too many of us take these elections for granted and trust in others to do what needs to be done.

Well, she has her new two-hour infomercial movie coming to Iowa in June; she leaves for her bus tour on Sunday; and she starts the tour with veterans. Yes, she is running.

Now, we need to STOP HER SOONEST POSSIBLE

My sinister-in-law manages the movie theaters in Cherokee,Iowa. When Michael Moore’s movies were coming out,she got orders from headquarters that they would not be showing Moore’s movies in Fridley Theaters. I’ll have to ask her if the Wasilla Whackjob gets a free pass.

    That looks wonderful!

Spent too many hours in the storm closet yesterday. Ick. Made better by listening to an interview this morning on an StL radio station with Mr. Bailey. He did pretty well, considering it was 5 a.m. his time. Had to email the station and tell the person interviewing how to pronounce your name. Eejut.

I hope our young hawk is okay. Haven’t seen him since the storm. Of course, he could have blown to the East Coast!

Mmmmmmm. I’ll bring some drawn butter and be right there!

For someone who values her privacy, she surely chose an odd place to live. That house is so exposed, anyone in an air-based vehicle and a good lens could spy on it 24/7. Or there’s always satellite observation . . . .

Is that a hint of blue cheese escaping the olive?

Hope all is well and keep getting better, AKM (and the rest of the mudflatters)!

Please stop showing King Crab. I would kill for some!

PS My book should arrive today! I can’t wait to get home.

    • Bretta says:

Dungeness crab is better but you can have the King – leaves more dungees for me ;).

Hey, Madame Muckraker, I hope that photo is a representation of just a part of the birthday celebrations yesterday.

Of the two adult beverages, I’m going with idea that the glass of wine was for YOU….just a GUESS, of course….(yeah, uh-huh….)

Hope you are enjoying your amazing week!

Much love to you and the fam.

Let me be the first to say…eek!! I’m very allergic to shellfish- got an epi-pen handy? Now, if there’s grilled Copper River salmon displayed on a plate just out of sight, I’ll be glad to join you 😉

Finally- another sunny day. We’ve had 9 days in a row of gloom and rain- not typical Denver weather. I think I can finally plant my peppers and tomatoes in pots outside…
