I must take AKM severely to task for posting the above picture without providing its genesis. That is highly unlike her — she must be feeling under the weather to have had such a lapse. Or have a fever.
The photo was created by Baggers of the Pissonem Chapter in Alabama–it is being proudly shared by all Baggers across the nation as an iconic image of their new-found power in the Halls of Congress.
Representational of their recent triumphs in the Debt Ceiling Debates, the image is highly symbolic: the color green represents the money that Baggers have prevented our out-of-touch government from spending; money that would have to be paid back by our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The Baggers in Pissonem, Al, were truly lucky to find such a large green background for display of their sentiments.
The phrase “Freedom : Refuse” is an incapsulation of what Baggers stand for — Baggers *refuse* to allow their Freedom to be trampled upon by government growing any bigger and *refuse* to cede their Freedom to a government telling them what to do! No one tells a Bagger they have to raise the Debt Ceiling… N.O…O.N.E!
And, finally, the phrase “In God We Trust”, is one Baggers feel should be at the core of every *real* American’s being; it is at the core of every Bagger. Baggers firmly believe every man and woman should reap the rewards of their *own* work; no longer should the government give *any* hand-outs to those who don’t contribute. The government has no business being a ‘nanny state’ and Baggers will *not* let taxes be raised for any more frivolous programs!
Yes, the Baggers are right proud with their selfs that they put their foot down, refused to give way, and stuck to their guns when the rest of the people in DC were trying to ram raising the debt ceiling and more governmental spending down the throats of the American people. Baggers are sharing with each other the photo and using it as proof that they now have the power they so desperately want to win America back.
And that, mudpups, is the story behind the above photo — the story our AKM, in her spell of what I hope was merely a brief hiccough to her health, neglected to tell us.

OTOH, the photo might be just a fortuitous happenstance that can be used to illustrate exactly what the Baggers and their complete incomprehension of economics, revenue, credit ratings, discretionary spending, cooperation, compromise, etc. did to the US this past week: Chucked it –with both hands– into the gd dumpster! So the girls and I went to the store today and on our way home we were waiting for the light to change to go across a busy intersection. When the light changes this lady whizzes by us on her bicycle, while sending a text message!!! Mind you this is a busy intersection, and the child she had with her, although on a different bicycle was ahead of her and she wasn’t even paying attention!!
Not sure if this is multitasking or just plain stupidity!!!!

Refusing freedom for the majority of ‘Mericans is a good idea,IMHO. Why,you ask? I’m glad you asked so I can explain.. We,or at least in my case,I can’t afford freedom. A large part of the population equates “Free Speech” with having money,the more moolah,the more free speech you have. So we have not a Nation of equals,but, a Nation where the wealthy are much more equal than the rest of us. With their free speech in hand they can purchase access to politicians so they can receive more free speech. There is an old truism from somewhere that you need free speech to make free speech or something like that. Freedom works basically the same way What good is freedom if you don’t earn enough free speech to go anywhere?
