Cute Little Girl Totally Owns Westboro Baptist Church
Remember when Sarah Palin put her daughter Piper up to sitting at a lemonade stand on the lawn of the Governor’s Mansion, just to increase car traffic and piss off the neighbors?
Little Piper raised $40 for charity. And she was not pleased. She wanted to keep it all for herself, and her mother understood. This is a direct quote from the governor’s email account.
“Piper made $43 at her lemonade stand here yesterday, and is donating it to the March of Dimes charity walk on Saturday. She says the next time she’s not going to advertise it ‘For Charity.’ I don’t blame her.” (Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin, Simon & Schuster 2011)
So, she did it again and the next time, she kept the money for herself. Nyah, nyah.
This is kind of like that, only the most opposite of that possible.
A little girl in the Kansas City metro area saw the rainbow house across the street from Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka on the news, and thought it was the most beautiful place she’d ever seen. Her dad told her about Equality House and the organization Planting Peace. So, she decided she wanted to set up a lemonade stand to raise money for them, which will go to fund anti-bullying efforts, and promote peace.
So far, she’s raised more than $15,000.
And what did the “God Hates Fags” crew across the street have to say?
WB: It’s a great preaching opportunity, because every time you tell about the lemonade, you have to tell about the hatred… the eternal hatred, and wrath of God towards the impenitent sinner.”
Reporter: I don’t understand the connection between the lemonade stand and a preachable moment about sin.
WB: I don’t either. But, that’s the way it’s falling out.
Yes, he said that.
Check out the video of the local news coverage from Kansas. It’s pretty great.
Sarah Palin is a crusted over kernel of greed who would teach petty Piper Palin to sweat over $40 which is McDonald’s money to a family of that size, and a truly rich person who gives from the heart. What warmth comes from Piper? There is nothing in her soul.
Of course, her mom may have been coming up with stories that never happened. They are unverifiable, cutesy stories that moms tell.
Let’s take Ben’s idea a step further. Why not have the government pay for Liberals-only abortions and then rethugs can privatize the services, give no bid contracts to their wealthy contributors, overbill and defraud the government and take their ill gotten gains to offshore bank accounts and deprive Uncle Sam of tax revenues while ridding the world of more Liberals. That has to be rwnj, capitalistic utopia. Think outside the box, like Benlomond.
… you’re starting to scare me, mike…. sounds too much like a Michelle Bachmann income scheme!!
Excellent idea,Ben. That would keep them occupied indefinitely trying to figure out what the catch is in your proposal.
I had never seen the WBBC before. Looks like a mortuary,IMHO.
It most certainly does…
“…….and a little child shall lead them.” Verily, from the valley of the shadow of death rides the avenging angel to smite the newest symbols of Satan and godless Liberals-rainbows and peace signs. Oh why,our Lord, was not this little blonde spawn of Satan aborted?
your last sentence has led me down a different thought process on abortion… If only Liberals are for abortion, then only Liberals will avail themselves of the procedure…therefore there will be less Liberals at the polls….I think we should point this out to our anti-abortion friends…this same reasoning can be applied to a number of other groups, Minorities, economically challenged, welfare freeloaders, etc… Maybe they could just say Republicans can’t have abortions in order to increase their ranks, heaven knows there are getting to be less and less of them .
thankgod for wbc speaks the truth about the bible
rainbow house is abusive,
I feel sorry for the 5 year old girl.
Which bible?
The members of Westboro Baptist are about as far from Christ as one can be. Satan is proud of them.
Pffftttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WBC guy can’t even draw a connection between the stand and a so-called teachable moment?
“A teachable moment, in education, is the time at which learning a particular topic or idea becomes possible or easiest.”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teachable_moment
Crimenently.
What a loada hooey.
What is easiest to get outta his blather is that the WBC is a broken down cart in mud up to its bed and incapable of being yarded outta the muck it got itself into.
