Round two of the Netroots Nation scholarships has ended, and as you all know, I’ll be one of the lucky nine people from that round who’ll be heading to Pittsburgh for the festivities!
Now, Round 3, the third and final round ov voting has begun. Another group of nine will be selected. It’s all new voting, and our Mudbuddy Shannyn Moore is on the roster! Help Shannyn make the pilgrimage to Pittsburgh by clicking HERE and voting!

Like I said last night:
Much easier this go round, didn’t have to do all the signup hoops like when we first voted for AKM. Just pressed on the link rightside & midway down Shannyn’s application page saying:

Add your support ”
After doing that it pulled up the login screen which just required my email address & password (some may have been smart last time to have it ‘remember’ but dumb me! I found the PW back in an old email May 16th from Democracy for America.
Left my comments and it’s a Done Deal!

I do think it’s worthwhile to say where people are voting from. So that they see how MANY of Shannyn’s supporters & readers of her blog are coming from all over the country. We’re not only Alaskans that enjoy her blog.
208 votes, 41 ahead of #2. My understanding is that the voting will close on July 5 so we need to pull way ahead and stay there. Trust me, Shannyn, you are well worth the effort for all your hard work. Just the thought of you and AKM together in Pittsburgh gives me big ol’ goosebumps!

I agree about the “not so friendly” navigation. It has changed since we voted on the last round. Under Grassroots Supporters you can click “see all” and that is where you can see if your comment/vote made it. I was #197.

Not a very friendly site to navigate. Instead of voting, you support. Maybe, AKM and Shannyn can bring this up at the convention.

No one in round 1 Winners had ZERO votes. Their vote numbers no longer show due due to however their computer program is written.
Also, you can vote for more than one blogger in the same round i.e. Vote for Shannyn in AK and vote for a blogger in NY.
Voted and remembered password, well, after a bit!
I tried to vote but they say that my email address is already in use and that I need to reset my password. I did have them to reset my password and they said they would send my password to my email address and they havent. This happened to me when I tried to vote for AKM and I was going to ask for help to see how to resolve it but my daughter went into labor and had a beautiful baby boy and I have been helping her and it slipped my mind. Now I am having the same problem. I must have put in a password at some point that I cant remember and even though they say to reset the password and they will send me the password via email, they havent. Anybody know how I can resolve this and vote for Shannyn?

Next year, we should have AKM, SHANNYN, and CD for rounds 1, 2 and 3, since you can only vote once per round (as it should be!).
In the meantime, let’s not forget CD’s mission of emails!

AKM: Do you need help with airfare and meals? My understanding is that your “all access” ticket and hotel will be paid, along with SOME meals.
