[Video] Inside the Cancelled Trump Chicago Rally
Energizing is exactly the word I would use for the Chicago would-be Trump rally. After a petition gathering over 50,000 signatures failed to keep Trump from holding a rally at the University of Illinois at Chicago, the people of the city decided to take the matter in a new direction. A Facebook event RSVP’d over 11,000 people, with 20,000 more interested. There’s no love for Trump in Chicago, no question. Being such a liberal city, it couldn’t have surprised him when hundreds of protesters slipped into the stadium seats at UIC pavilion, with large concentrations in a few sections.
The event was advertised with a 6pm start time. Like any other Trump rally, that time came and went, protesters were escorted out, and still no sign of Trump. A little after 6:30pm, the announcement came:
“Mr. Trump just arrived in Chicago, and after meeting with law enforcement, has determined that for the safety for all the tens of thousands of people that have gathered in and around this arena that tonight’s rally will be postponed until another day. Thank you very much for your attendance, and please go in peace.”
An eruption of boos resounded through the arena. Once the booing dulled, intense celebration could be heard. The sections of protesting thugs were ecstatic with their victory, chanting “we stopped Trump,” “Bernie,” and “we’re gonna be alright.”
Starting at the 12 second mark, a supporter on the right edge of the screen holding a blue Trump sign behind two young women thugs holding a black “No Hate, No Racism, No Trump-ler” sign. After trying to knock the sign out of one thug’s hands, he rips the sign in half and is escorted out of the section by police officers. To protect him from the thugs, obviously.
In the wake of the St. Louis, Chicago, Kansas City, and Ohio protests, Trump appears to be shaken. But not the kind of shaken that makes you drive safer after a car accident. Trump is jar-of-bees shaken, and the lid is about to come off.

But why are they being referred to as thugs…last time i checked you have to be partaking in some time of violent activity to be a thug. These look to peaceful protesters…the real thugs are the people throwing punches and physically harrasing the protesters….stop covering up the real issue and that is every time black faces show up to trumps rallies they are removed and from what ive viewed none of them were being violent.
