Salmonstock: Ray Troll Prints!
At Salmonstock 2013 I was lucky enough to see the honorable artist Ray Troll make a print. If you’re a follower of Renewable Resources Coalition and Salmonstock (which you should be if you’re a reader of ours!) – you’ll recognize his art from the many t-shirts that they sell at the Salmonstock store. Ray also is the artist of the Raven’s Brew Coffee bags.
During the process of making the print a couple attendees of Salmonstock pitched in to help as it’s a long and careful process of making sure that it comes out right.
I kept on shooting throughout the process – so keep on scrolling there’s a lot of photos! (Apologies if it take a bit to load).

PS: Keep an eye out for A LOT more Salmonstock photo coverage over the next couple of days… we’re rolling it out a bit late (thanks Don Young) but they will be posted!
Earlier in the day they stapled another print from that same carving with the added “Wild Salmon Forever” on the Salmonstock store.
Thank you for sharing, Zach.

[Ivan – I’ve tried three separate times, now, to open the link…the ‘connecting to’ icon just keeps spinning and spinning and, yup, spinning some more. Have another/a different link to what you wanted to share? beth.]

both links work for me.
Both are now working for me, too. Thanks. {I think your taking a ‘look’ at the first one might have scared it enough to get it to work? Or maybe when I was trying to open it during that 4-hour time span, the site was being visited by many and didn’t have ‘space/room’ for one more. ;-)} Thanks again, Ivan – nice photo. beth.
Ray Troll is an Alaska treasure: http://wickershamsconscience.wordpress.com/2011/01/01/ray-troll-an-alaska-treasure/
Thanks for that post, Wickershams Conscience, and the link from the post. As the daughter of a deceased dad who was a print master (silkscreen, lithography, woodcut, much more), this made my day, and brought back memories.
