Thomas Van Flein Exits Stage Right – Farewell, Snidely…

This blog post comes with musical accompaniment to enhance your reading pleasure. Yes, it’s true. One of our most favorite villains in the never ending Palin drama is leaving the Great Land. And I have to admit, as much as I’d like to tell him not to let the door hit him on the way out of the state, the dramatist in me is just a little sad to see him go. *sniffle* So, grab your li’l white hankies and join with me by the train tracks as we bid a not-so-fond farewell to Thomas Van Flein, who has been…

Last-Minute Holiday Gifts That Truly Show You Care

by Linda Kellen Biegel I received a secretive email from a friend of mine yesterday, telling me to search my “spam email filter” because she thinks that’s where a “special gift from Santa” may have ended up. So, I perused through the array of offers in my 97 unread “spam emails” to try and determine which gift Santa was bringing me. Voices from the Flats – Why Socialism Sucks and Corporations are Rad

Thomas Dewar has served as press secretary, communications director and campaign consultant for local, state and national campaigns, labor unions, progressive ballot initiatives and non-profits. A graduate of UC-Berkeley, he most recently managed an Alaska legislative campaign, winning a double-digit victory in an otherwise difficult year for Democrats. The bracing efficiency of America’s private sector has withstood many a bureaucratic assault from meddlesome government regulators, but the past year has seen our corporate titans really step up their game. Any investment advisor will tell you a diversified portfolio is key, and American Captains of Industry have worked hard in every…

Teenage Boys Flock to Sarah Palin! Resonates With Next Generation of Men.

I found this story amusing. I generally don’t link to Conservatives4Palin, but their little heartwarming  story of (and I quote) “Christmas Joy” was delightfully irresistible. Americans, prepare to “have your heart warmed” and yes, your “hope for mankind” restored. It seems that someone was so inspired by a holiday family gathering which included a group of teenage boys, that they just had to share with the fan site.  Of all things on the TV that these young men wanted to watch, they picked… Sarah Palin’s Alaska. (hands on heart) Those young patriots are an inspiration for the future. These guys…
