To nearly no ones surprise Lt. Governor Mead Treadwell has announced that he has filed the necessary paperwork to run for the US Senate in the 2014 Republican Primary. Sometime in the next couple of days the US Supreme Court will decide if crucial components of the Voting Rights Act will stand.
